I was wondering about batteries and what guns can take what. My major question is. A gun that says " Lipo required" does that mean you can't run a Nimh battery? From what I understand a Lipo gun can run off a non Lipo battery but a non Lipo rdy gun shouldn't be ran on a Lipo. I'm just trying to make sure I get the right one. The gun says to get a 11.1v peq box Lipo. Any recommendations on what to get?
Thanks for the help. Shawn

I have never seen a gun that says lipo required, but a lot of "lipo ready". But you are right. You can use nimh batteries as well. I will say having a lipo has its advantages. They can pull stronger springs, they are a little more consistent with charges, etc. They also have there disadvantages such as price, expensive chargers, if improperly used, they can catch fire.

You should always use a smart charger when charging your batteries but in the case of Lipo's you MUST use a smart charger.
